Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Your Privacy Matters

This Privacy Policy explains how LiveDraftX ("LiveDraftX," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you. It applies to our marketing website at https://www.livedraftx.com and to our fantasy draft application at https://fantasy.livedraftx.com (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you register for an account and use the Services, we collect:

  • Account information: your full name, email address, and date of birth. Your email address is used as your username, and we record whether it has been verified.
  • Billing information: when you purchase a paid draft, you enter your name, email, billing address, and card details into a secure form provided by our payment processor, Stripe. These payment details are transmitted directly from your browser to Stripe to process the transaction. LiveDraftX's own servers do not receive or store your billing address or card number; we receive only a payment token from Stripe that lets us complete the charge.
  • League information: if you set up a draft as a commissioner, you may enter team names and the email addresses of the other members of your league so we can send them draft invitations, reminders, and results. See "Information About Third Parties" below.
  • Communications: if you contact us, submit a survey or feedback, or use our support chat, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, access times, and how you interact with the Services. We use a session-replay tool (OpenReplay) on the application to record product sessions so we can diagnose issues and improve the experience; these recordings are associated with the email address of the signed-in account. Card-entry fields are handled inside Stripe's secure frame and are not captured by session replay.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • create and manage your account and provide the Services;
  • process payments and send receipts, and prevent and detect fraud;
  • send account, draft, and transactional messages (such as verification codes, password resets, draft reminders, and draft results);
  • respond to your questions and provide customer support; and
  • operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Services, and, if you have not opted out, tell you about features and offers from LiveDraftX.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Services use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to operate the site. In particular, our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito) stores your sign-in session in your browser so you don't have to log in on every page. Our payment processor (Stripe), our session-replay tool (OpenReplay), and our support-chat provider (RubyRelay) may also set cookies or use browser storage when those features are active.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad-targeting pixels. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, but if you block the essential storage described above, parts of the Services (including staying signed in) may not work.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We share information with trusted vendors who process it on our behalf, under contract and only to provide services to us. These include Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting, authentication, and database, in the United States), Stripe (payment processing), OpenReplay (session replay), RubyRelay (support chat), and Google (web fonts, which load from Google's servers and may expose your IP address to Google).
  • Other league members. Information you enter to run a draft (such as team names and member emails) is used to notify the people in your league and is visible to the commissioner and other participants of that draft.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information without notice if we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with the law or legal process, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of LiveDraftX or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Information About Third Parties

If you provide us with another person's information (for example, the team names and email addresses of members of your league), you confirm that you have their permission to share it with us for the purpose of running your draft. If you are a league member who received a message from us and would like your information corrected or removed, please contact us at support@livedraftx.com.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your Rights and Choices

You can review and update your account information (including your name, email, and password) from your profile, and you can manage which non-essential emails you receive from your email preferences. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to request a copy of it. The Services do not currently offer self-service account deletion, so to make any of these requests, email us at support@livedraftx.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), your session is secured with signed tokens (JSON Web Tokens), and payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant processor, so we never store it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children Under Thirteen

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

E-mail Communications

We may contact you by email to send verification codes, password resets, receipts, draft reminders and results, and other service messages. We may also send product and promotional emails; you can opt out of those at any time from your email preferences or by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send you transactional and account-related messages that are necessary to operate the Services.

Data Storage and International Users

LiveDraftX is operated from the United States, and we store data on cloud infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Services, updating the date at the top of this Policy, and/or emailing the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
